The defender's recovery is advancing smoothly, giving hope that the Madrid defender could recover in time to confront his former club Liverpool in November's European match.

The English international experienced a hamstring problem during a match against French side Marseille in the initial phase of the tournament on September 16.

Alexander-Arnold exited the field in the fifth minute, with initial indications suggesting a potential absence of up to a month and a half.

Real Madrid are set to visit Liverpool on November 4 for the European match—exactly seven weeks since the incident occurred.

Sources familiar with the player's condition indicate that the defender's healing process is moving along positively, and there is optimism that Alexander-Arnold could achieve his first appearance to Liverpool's stadium since signing for Los Blancos in the summer.

A longtime Liverpool fan, Alexander-Arnold previously stated that leaving the team he joined as a young youth player was the "most difficult decision he has ever taken."

During his spell with the Merseyside club, Alexander-Arnold accumulated 354 games, contributing to secure multiple Premier League titles, a Champions League, and the FA Cup.
