But if we're going solely off what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it is apparent that the green gaming company continues to plan to draw people in with strong games on its flagship service.

The two games you can play right now as you read this, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. The true anticipation is for the upcoming titles to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's truly noteworthy.

On Jan. 13, Game Pass will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that refreshes conventional open-world tropes with a cosmic robbery tale. But even the smaller games set to join the catalog are quite compelling. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that's a blast to play, arrives January 7th — and it's worth experiencing even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.

Ultimately, this isn't a revolutionary update to Game Pass, and they don't represent massive exclusive blockbusters that justify the service by themselves. But Microsoft's additions here are rock solid. There's a good mixture of older titles you may have skipped and fairly new titles that didn't get the attention they deserved the first time around — transforming them into perfect candidates to find a new audience on Game Pass.
